i3 is seeking a motivated IT Lead/Project Manager to lead a technical team in support of an Army classified environment. The IT Lead/Project Manager will be instrumental in planning, organizing, executing and managing technical projects, resources, and customer requirements. A successful IT Lead/Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the technical and cybersecurity teams for this environment as well as serving as a technical expert and solution provider for complex IT and cybersecurity challenges.
Responsibilities
Serve as customer key POC for IT and cybersecurity-related projects, schedules, resources, issues, etc.
Implement IT and cybersecurity strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within scope of overall customer mission.
Analyze enterprise business strategies to determine corresponding changes in infrastructure architectures to meet the on-going service demands of the customer's environment.
Responsible for maintaining and fostering customer relationships and gaining stakeholder buy-in on IT and cyber initiatives.
Recommends IT and cyber strategies, policies, and procedures through evaluation of the customer's mission, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and requirement anticipation.
Serve as technical subject matter expert for existing technologies within customer environment and emerging technologies to integrate.
Ensures customer environment is operational and maintains cyber and RMF compliance.
Qualifications
Strong Linux, Windows, and virtualization background.
Bachelors degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may substitute for degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD 8570.01-M compliance.
Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical concepts
In-depth understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Understanding of software development life cycles and configuration management processes.
Proven history of providing team leadership, fostering communication, and resolving team issues and misunderstandings.
