Responsibilities

Dematic is growing and we are looking for energetic and ready-now talent to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. We are looking to fill the Material Handler role on multiple shifts. This is a critical role within our organization and candidates at all levels of experience are welcome to apply. We are willing to train individuals who are looking for a career change, especially those who are wanting further career growth and development. In addition to base compensation, overtime is applicable in this role, as well as full company benefits. Pay is determined by experience, but eligible for increases in our usual merit cycles.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Pick, receive, and ship materials

  • Pack and ship correct orders to customers

  • Provide Customer Service in timely manner

  • Verify product numbers

  • Carry out manual warehouse duties as assigned

  • Load and unload trucks; utilize forklifts and other required equipment

  • Comply with all safety and healthy requirements to work within facilities

  • Uphold safety and health requirements per guidelines

  • Maintain clean work environment

  • Report to work in timely manner

  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements


Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:


  • Requires ability to read, comprehend, and follow company policies, procedures, and directives

  • Requires ability to lift material weighing up to 50 lbs

  • High School diploma or GED is required

  • Prefers the ability to operate the company vehicles safely

  • Prefers the ability to safely operate material handling equipment

  • Prefers the ability to operate forklifts

  • Prefers previous workhouse experience
