Here's where you come in:

McKinstry is looking to add a Product Manager to our growing Product Management team, to improvedesign, detailing, and preconstruction aspects of our construction line of business. The Product Manager is responsible for managing the product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing product requirements, developing business cases, and working closely with developers, IT, engineering, and software vendors to procure, develop, and implement solutions to solve business challenges.

Project Management:

The Product Manager will ensure proactive management of technology projects and initiatives, partnering closely with internal customers and software developers to prioritize and execute solutions. Ideally, the Product Manager will have previous experience managing and communicating project budgets and schedules.

Product Management:

The Product Manager will maintain a portfolio of product roadmaps to address business pains and challenges within design, detailing, and preconstruction. In addition to producing documentation, including product requirement documents, user acceptance test plans, and training material, the Product Manager will develop and execute an implementation plan, including training and measuring the impact on business outcomes.

What we would like to see from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or Computer Science preferred; or related field or equivalent professional experience

  • Background or experience with Project Management, MEP, Preconstruction, Engineering, BIM, or Detailing

  • Familiarity with Autodesk solutions

  • 3-5 years' experience within the AEC or Product Management industry

  • Ability to work remotely or in a team environment

  • Ability to collaborate with teams with a diversity of backgrounds and interests across construction and technology [and/or something about being able to manage upwards and across "dotted lines" to herd cats across a broad constituency]
