The Cardiac Telemetry Unit is an inpatientprimary cardiac unit. The unit serves adult to geriatric patients. The patient population includes: post cardiac surgery, myocardial infarction, R/O myocardial infarction,ACS, post stent. All beds have cardiac telemetry capability. Patient care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, and all professional disciplines.

The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization. Through collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals, the nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Qualifications:

• 
  Current WA State RN license required..
  


• 
  1 or moreyears recent experience with inpatient telemetry preferred.
  


• 
  EKG monitor validation.
  


• 
  Interventional cardiology experience preferred.
  

Preferred: ACLS; Experience with post open heart patients; Certification in a cardiac specialty area; BSN strongly preferred.
