Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant & Project Manager will be working directly with the client, leading specific project workstreams and tasks, and acting as a subject matter expert in project management and healthcare initiatives. The position requires the ability to oversee the development of a wide variety of deliverables and strong consulting, communication, leadership, and execution skills. The position entails workstream management of healthcare financial and utilization management initiatives that require extensive experience with an ability to operate in complex project environments with demanding clients, multiple business partners, widespread team responsibilities, and fast-paced delivery requirements. Working closely with healthcare cost and utilization data reporting, this role requires keen awareness of technical project execution and process optimization to initiate and maintain program performance improvement.



We are looking for candidates who possess a tendency toward action, have innovative ideas, and display the forward-thinking ability to anticipate where a client's needs may be 12 months from now to achieve extraordinary results.



Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Manage client relationships, including, communications, risk mitigation, stakeholder management and strategic development.

  • Actively lead project teams, providing strong leadership and feedback regarding work products, client needs and internal deliverables.

  • Ability to assess a client's organization, strategic goals, governance structure and overall environment to facilitate delivery as well as contract renewals, expansion, and new business opportunities.

  • Evaluate evolving market trends to identify impact to client business operations and shares knowledge both internally and externally, as appropriate.

  • Informleadership and the client of project status.

  • Oversee project resources and identify and bridge any resource gaps.

  • Deliver effective internal and external presentations and skillfully facilitate client and internal meetings.

  • Ability to meet internal and external deadlines by efficiently managing time, prioritizing tasks, and utilizing available resources.




Qualifications


  • 6+ years of experience in client management and project management required, preferably in a federal consulting environment.

  • Experience in managing IT development, implementation, and technical data projects strongly preferred.

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field, preferred but not required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic environment and produce deliverablesin tight time frames.

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Microsoft Office mastery (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
