Job Description:

20 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 3:30PM to 6:30PM, Wednesday 10:00AM to 12:00PM, Saturday 9:00AM to 12:00PM + 3:00PM to 6:00PM (hours are based on family needs)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary/Objective
Provide direct face to face Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment services to teens and adults with autism in their home, center, telehealth or community settings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Teach teens and adults with autism how to communicate, engage in leisure activities, make friends, and function more independently, while helping resolve challenging behaviors.

  • Collect, organize, and summarize behavioral data on child's treatment goals.

  • Work with families to support their child s progress.

  • Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training

  • Confirmation of scheduled sessions to the Billing Department on a daily basis.

  • Attendance at monthly staff meetings and completion of BCL required training.

  • Completion of daily student notes.

  • Arriving on time and being prepared for therapy sessions.

  • Maintaining confidentiality of clients at all times.

  • Providing services that are effective, efficient, and ethical and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work

Certifications, Education and Experience


  • A High School Diploma or GED required

  • Valid Drivers License that meets BCLs insurance policy criteria.

  • Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous.

  • People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.

  • Adaptable/flexible - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.

  • Bachelor s degree and/or experience working with children with autism preferred.

Salary: $16.00 per hour or as outlined in Collective Bargaining Agreement.
