Job Description:

The Executive Protection Agent & Driver provides for the welfare, physical protection and security of a client by performing executive protection and/or transportation assignments.

Essential Functions:


  1. Represent Pinkerton core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Anticipate the needs and requirements to ensure the assigned executive is on time for all meetings and events;

    1. Communicate effectively and professionally with C-Suite members to gather information needed to plan, organize, and implement all security-related tasks.

  3. Provide safe and secure vehicle transportation to C-Level executives;

    1. Receive and and/or prepare appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of executives.
    2. Complete route planning/reconnaissance and mobile security.
    3. Consult maps and/or navigation devices for desired routes.
    4. Advise the executive passengers of potential delays due to traffic or construction and adjust route when possible to meet arrival time.

  4. Provide close protection and other security-related functions for the client, as needed;

    1. Lead counter surveillance operations.
    2. Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
    3. Effectively manage the client and/or their family/representative requests against the need to ensure all safety and security precautions.
    4. Respond to emergencies and perform medical operations, as needed.

  5. Serve as liaison with internal and external customers, office staff, and the public.
  6. Coordinate vehicle record, maintenance logs, and daily activity reports.
  7. All other duties, as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of executive protection and security driving experience.

Competencies:


  • Executive protection and security driving experience.
  • Michigan CPL with PFZ exemption.
  • LEOSA or legally able to carry across states.
  • Emergency Vehicle Operations course completion, preferred.
  • Defensive driving certification, preferred.
  • Able to follow operation plans and manage trip requirements with little or no supervision.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Able to remain calm under stressful driving conditions.
  • Ability to use good judgment and act in a decisive manner in emergency situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Customer service orientated.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
