Job SummaryResponsible for coordinating and directing the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of data engineering solutions and applications or coordinating analysis that ensures the development of business and consumer insights, recommendations that address business objectives and a strategic understanding of data collected. May introduce new technologies and systems to support new and changing business requirements. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.Job DescriptionComcast's Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) develops a myriad of data products and capabilities that help direct Comcast's strategy & execution of key objectives. Reporting into the Domain Support and Enablement team within EBI Decisioning and Technology, the User Enablement team is chartered with driving adoption and usage of EBI data, products and applications.The Senior Manager, Domain Support and Enablement owns the user enablement strategy and leads a team that works cross-functionally to execute upon it, both within EBI and with its partners throughout Comcast. The candidate should be creative and design-minded with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. They should be skilled in identifying users' underlying emotional and functional needs and executing on those discoveries to create positive user experiences.The User Enablement team and their Senior Manager provide leadership and execution in the areas of Knowledge Management, User Experience and Design, and Content Strategy. The following are some examples of current responsibilities in each area:Knowledge ManagementEstablish and champion self-service content delivery and consumption through the use of centralized knowledge repositoriesMaintain a roadmap for the EBI Portal ensuring it remains accurate and up-to-date to meet users evolving needs and EBI's growing portfolioInvestigate innovative solutions to improve knowledge management, content delivery, and product support for users and contributors (ex. Chat bots, platforms, and tools)User Experience and DesignDevelop and maintain user personas that can inform design, content creation, and support needsResearch and inform developers and stakeholders of user experience patterns and preferences to improve adoption and engagementCreate UX design artifacts (wireframes, workflows, prototypes) and provide UAT assistance to development teamsCurate quantitative results (site analytics, surveys, etc.) and qualitative feedback on product engagement and satisfactionContent StrategyStandardize templates and branding for user documentation, email communications, the EBI portal, wiki pages, and other visual aidsCreate go-to-market strategies for new EBI products and releases defining deliverables and timelines as well as collaboratively authoring content with product teamsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent5-7 years experience incontent marketing, product development, and/or knowledge managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience directly or indirectly leading and mentoring teamsProven ability to successfully manage initiatives from conception to delivery within a matrixed environmentExperience working with or in an agile product development organizationStrong competence with the Microsoft Office product suitePre-existing knowledge of UX and design-thinking best practices and methodologiesConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
