The Senior Director of Perioperative Surgical Services will join a health system that is recognized for their array of comprehensive services and specialties offered. This 300+ bed hospital uses state-of-the-art technology, innovative approaches and techniques, and is centered around a team-oriented, collaborative approach when caring for their patients.  

The Senior Director of Perioperative Surgical Services will be accountable for all perioperative surgical service lines including 10+ operating rooms, PACU, pre-operative / pre-admission, sterile processing, and ambulatory surgery center. Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this Senior Director of Perioperative Surgical Services will be accountable for overall department operational workflows, developing short term and long term strategic programs focused on business and departmental growth, implementing quality performance improvement initiatives, preparing accreditation and survey material, and maintaining oversight of all perioperative surgical service department budgets. As the Senior Director Of Perioperative Surgical Services, this individual will join the hospital administrative leadership team and be actively cross collaborating with the physicians, and other multidisciplinary teams. The Senior Director will be an approachable individual who will act as a mentor and resource for their team. This individual holds an active RN license and will be a seasoned leader that has administrative and clinical leadership experience overseeing a surgical services department. The Senior Director of Perioperative Surgical Services should also have a clinical background with previous scrubbing and circulating experience in an operating room.
