Down Day preparation and execution, Preventive and Predictive maintenance in area of responsibility and completing necessary documentation on a daily basis.
Keeping Electrical delay Rates low in area of responsibility.
Electrical equipment repairs.
Reducing maintenance costs in area of responsibility.
Scanning out all repair parts used from inventory.
Participating in improvement Maintenance activities (CIT, RCA).
Communication with Area Lead and Area Supervisors.
Communicating on a day to day basis with Area Leads and Planner Schedulers - errors in SAP, kits and quality issues of spare parts, validation of all information in the CMMS system with respect to each piece of equipment and issues resulting from equipment checks.
Supervising/coordinating external contractors in your assigned area.
Set up of all down day parts in your assigned area.
Assist maintaining:
Work effectiveness with regard to response times, required competencies, overtime, etc.
Tools & supplies in your assigned area.
All satellite managed inventory in your assigned area.
Vendor managed inventory (VMI) in your assigned area.
Electrical Maintenance is Accountable for the following:
Safety (PPE, LOTO, OSHA regulations)
Completing all environmental standards and regulations
Work order completion including times and comments (CMMS)
Attending Safety meetings
Time management (KRONOS)
5S in shop and mill.
hose program in your assigned area
maintaining vendor managed inventory (VMI) in your assigned area
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS for Electrical Maintenance
Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must be able to read and understand AC/DC electrical schematics.
Must be able to troubleshoot AC/DC electrical control circuits.
Must have knowledge of AC/DC motor inspection, operation, and troubleshooting.
Must have knowledge of AC/DC magnet control systems.
Ability to work on overhead cranes in extreme heights and environmental conditions.
Proficient with SAP; generating work orders, PR’s, inventory, & planning/scheduling
Knowledge and use of MS Word, Outlook, & Excel

EXPERIENCE
Prefer a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing or in a heavy industrial equipment environment.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Two years vocational school and six years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience OR eight years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experiences
