Kalman & Company is seeking an experience Financial Analyst to work onsite in Stafford, VA. This position will be supporting the USMC PM MHTV project. This person will provide matrixed support across the four PM MHTV platforms, including evaluating various funding appropriations, RDT&E, Procurement, Marine Corps (PMC), and O&M while providing rigorous remediation of Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs), Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULOs), and Liquidations Greater than Expenses (LGTEs).
Specific Duties:
Refine audit-focused business processes, reporting tools, and trend analysis
Working with the APM FM, this resource will provide funding execution variance explanations for phasing plans to the USMC comptroller.
Provide recommendations on the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and the tri-annual research and closeout process and support the verification of sufficiency of funds for each contract requirement verifying the requirement is registered in the NAVSEA Headquarters System (NHS) spend plan module.
Provide financial and analytical support to APM FM, including recommendations to reporting Tactical Wheeled Vehicle (TWV) requirements, funding taskers, external taskers, budget drills, and PM reviews.
Use financial summaries to update the Budget Execution Reporting Tool Hybrid Analyst (BERTHA) tool weekly and upload all financial documentation to the PM MHTV SharePoint portal.
Minimum Required Education/Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required
An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
4 years of applicable experience required with BA/BS degree
