What you will do 

The Procure to Pay (PTP) value stream includes the processes required to source and procure direct materials and indirect materials and services to include supplier collaboration, supplier invoice reconciliation and supplier payments. A PTP Deployment Value Stream Lead will manage plans and take action to implement PTP business processes and S4 ERP across Global Products manufacturing plants and distribution centers. A Deployment Value Stream Lead will be the subject matter expert for PTP business process documents and flows and serve as the primary source of process content for training materials. He/She will work closely with Sourcing, Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing and Logistics Managers at each site to plan and execute end user training and hyper-care support. The PTF Deployment Value Stream Lead will coordinate with the Program Manager, IT and Organization Change Management leads to provide tools, reports and training aids for each persona. He/She is a change agent accountable for the quality of the end user experience during and after the deployment. Key performance indicators will be user adoption rate, actual “go-live” date verses planned “go-live” date, user experience rating, training materials quality and completion date, reports available date to plan and master data quality. In summary, he/she is the manager that takes new business process designs developed in the Propel Foundation Phase and installs them into operations. 

How you will do it


  • Know the PBU/Site sequencing plan for FY22-26. At kick-off minus 12 months, identify PBU value stream lead, sites value stream leads and site power users.

  • Initiate and execute the site readiness plan.

  • Know the value stream process-technology ecosystem. Be ready to articulate the change impacts and how new business processes will create incremental benefits as users execute in the future state workflows. 

  • Collect and catalog work arounds, short-cuts and other creative solutions that come from end users during training, user acceptance testing, go-live and hyper-care phases. Route ideas for analysis. Submit recommendations to the Process Council for review and approval. 

  • Identify and catalog standard reports for each persona. Collect and catalog all requests for custom reports, KPI tracking and scorecards. Coordinate with the Reports & Metrics Manager to provide required reports and metrics for end users. 

  • Coordinate with the Master Data Manager to identify data authors. Ensure controls and metrics are implemented to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Identify and list opportunities for process and technology innovation. Escalate these ideas to the process council for review, approval and implementation. 

  • Create and implement a scorecard that measures site functional readiness for kick-off and go-live. Create a scorecard that measures the quality of implementation and user transformation experience. 

  • Manage process governance for Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Collaboration, Supplier invoice reconciliation and payment and have familiarity with Planning, Inventory Management, Order fulfillment, Production Scheduling, MRP, Production and Logistics processes.

  • Manage “business continuity” during site deployments by preparing the affected business areas for transition to the new way of working. 

     

What we look for


  • 10+ years of experience in various roles in Sourcing, Procurement, and supplier collaboration. Well versed in supply chain management, supplier risk management and supplier performance management. ARIBA experience is a plus. 

  • Truly global professional experience with awareness of legal / regional requirements in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pac countries

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be comfortable interfacing with business executives, IT leaders and customers/suppliers on a regular basis

  • Project Management (Project Management Certification is a plus)

  • Experience leading teams including employees and contractors 

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (approximately 25%)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task

  • Demonstrated effective writing, presentation, public speaking and training skills

  • Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong ERP experience. SAP experience is a plus

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree/MBA is a plus)
