Reporting to the Assistant AD for Recruiting Strategy and Administrative Engagement, the Director of Content manages and collaborates with recruiting and marketing individuals and supervises the day-to-day operations of all video elements for Oklahoma Football. This includes marketing content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple formats to inspire the nation’s best and brightest to attend OU while driving sales, engagement, fan, recruitment, and retention. This position is also accountable for the direction, administration, and coordination of a production team responsible for a variety of recruiting and student-athlete related content. The incumbent exercises independent, professional judgment beyond proscribed routine policies and procedures to carry out the athletic department and football program’s mission statement to recruit and retain student-athletes for the University of Oklahoma. The independent decisions made by the incumbent commit the program to a specific course of action and carry fiduciary responsibility and accountability for the management of the video team and budget. This position is part of a recruiting team that determines the success of both the football program's on-field success and the student-athlete’s success as an individual. This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Big XII Conference, and the NCAA.
