Job Description:

Summary

The Sales Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing the Sales Department for OEM business at Berco of America(BOA) Industry including development/execution of sales strategy to achieve goals.

Major Areas of Responsibility


  • Oversee OEM Sales Departments

  • Execute Sales strategy and carry out sales policies/procedures

  • Manage Sales Performance Metrics

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

  • Manage sales staff

  • Perform bi-annual performance/goal reviews with staff

  • Develop and Maintain annual budgets for sales departments

  • Develop and execute sales growth strategies for both existing and new customers

  • Support Forged Technologies Group at industry events

  • Conduct general reporting (weekly sales update, KPI report, expense reports, sales tracker)

  • Develop and track sales performance metrics that align with overall corporate objectives

  • Report out to senior management on urgent issues

  • Liaison between BOA and Berco Spa(Italy)

  • Provide feedback/coaching on pricing strategies for sales and engineering team

  • Effectively executes and oversees execution of sales strategy

  • Ensures projects completed on time and within budget

Essential Functions


  • Proficient in English Language

  • Working independently as well as with a team

  • Ability to travel frequently

Qualifications



  • Education/Credentials/Certifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related Field

    • MBA is a plus




  • Length of Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales/sales management and/or product engineering

    • Experience in manufacturing preferred
