The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Site MES Advanced Super User, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Provide IT operational support activities including completing key projects, activities, and tasks to ensure the success of the day-to-day manufacturing plant operations


• Provide IT Analytical support for ERP Transformation activities at the manufacturing plant.


• Expand the use, and benefit of, Data Analytics regarding Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Quality Data Systems


• Apply Problem Solving Skills, in combination with Data Analytics, to identify and overcome critical issues


• Handle a wide variety of non-routine and difficult IT inquiries where the solution is not immediately apparent where complex problem solving, and strong analytical skills may be required


• Manage the impact of any system changes, conduct risk analysis, and apply 3M standards for system change management

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution OR a High School Diploma/GED or higher AND a minimum of five (5) years of IT experience, in lieu of the Bachelor's degree education requirement

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in a Computer Science, Data Analytics, and/or Analytical Science discipline


• Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment


• Two (2) years of experience with relational databases


• Two (2) years of experience with SAP


• Proficient in MS SQL and VB/C#


• Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles for driving continuous improvement

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
