Summary of Position: 

The primary purpose of the Brand Manager position is to drive business planning and execution for the Huggies brand and contribute to the overall business strategy with a heavy focus on winning first purchase. This role will report to the Sr. Brand Manager.  Key customers include brand, business unit management, R&E, customer development, agency partners, finance, and product supply teams.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Leads, develops, and implements a strategy to win first purchase by managing the consumer journey into the diapers and wipes category.

  • Drives action and accountability for excellence in all advertising and creative development aligned to key consumer demand spaces

  • Partnership with our Performance Marketing team and agency partners to accelerate our growth in 1:1 digital engagement with paid, earned, shared, and owned marketing investments.

  • Plays the lead role in solidifying the marketplace position and marketing plans for Huggies.

  • Develops and executes annual operating plans and marketing plans that deliver financial objectives and aligns with brand strategies.

  • Leads the management of the advertising and consumer promotions budget to stay on track in delivering quarterly and annual financial commitments.

  • Analyzes consumer data, market share and sales reports to understand brand performance, product health and to track progress against marketing initiatives and return on investment analysis for marketing programs.

  • Participates in customer business planning process and collaborates with business unit sales team and key customers to ensure delivery of net sales and market share objectives.

  • Collaborates with Strategy & Innovation counterparts and directs the brand to ensure the brand promise is threaded through all brand activities.

  • Participates in monthly brand demand reviews, capacity reviews, risk mitigation and incremental sales opportunities.

  • Provides regular coaching and supports development of Associate Brand Managers.

Working Conditions:

Travel up to 10% of the work time. Travel may also include business travels via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business related field

  • Minimum of 7 years prior marketing experience in brand management or digital marketing

  • Experience of developing digital marketing plans including owned asset management, SEM, agency management, CRM, personalization, audience evaluation across 1st and 3rd party and marketing technology.

  • High familiarity with brand development planning, innovation and creative ideation processes.

  • Strong skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex problems and opportunities.

  • Demonstrated capability of building a strong, positive, winning, and caring team culture and build talent.

  • Ability to craft vision and strategy and make it come to life with actionable plans.

  • Strong analytical, decision making, influence, and compelling communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross functional teams to deliver strong innovation plans.

  • Demonstrated capability to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track.

  • Entrepreneur can-do attitude to find ways to break down growth barriers and navigate and perform in changing circumstances.

  • Demonstrated positive energy to effectively represent brand internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous team leadership and or formal coaching/mentoring accountability.
