Job Description

This dynamic position requires working with personnel across all functions of Kimberly-Clark and at all levels of responsibility. As an Advanced Auditor, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping our stakeholders solve their complex financial control issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Executes compliance testing activities and project roles under direction of lead auditors. Exercises initiative and judgment in executing audit procedures

  • Contributes to risk assessments with some supervision / guidance

  • Provides clear, sufficient and well-written evidence to support work, issues and recommendations

  • Demonstrates basic project management skills regarding engagement notification, task assignments and monitoring, interim performance evaluation, coaching and time management

  • Cultivates positive relationships with stakeholders and proactively builds effective working relationships with employees

  • Exercises judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

  • Recognizes issues, problems or opportunities and determines whether action is needed

  • Identify and recommend test approaches and tools to use during the course of the testing

  • Enhances current methodologies and recommend improvements to the process

  • Proactively seeks and embraces formal and informal peer coaching opportunities; coaches and trains entry-level staff about their role and team goals

  • Identifies opportunities to implement continuous monitoring of financial controls.



Minimum Position Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree with a major/minor in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 3+ years of public accounting and/or private industry audit experience with knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas

  • Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA or equivalent) or working towards certification

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently. Demonstrates initiative, innovation and drive for results. Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Have excellent follow-up and follow-through skills

  • Forensic mindset with basic knowledge and understanding of data analytics and related tools (e.g., ACL, Access)

  • Detail oriented. Demonstrated understanding and application of various techniques to identify the root cause of a problem

  • Handles difficult situations with diplomacy and tact and uses indirect influence to build consensus and support

  • Dedication to team work and leadership

  • Integrity within professional environment

  • Communicates professionally in all forms, with ability to effectively present to peers and management

  • Ability to travel ~20%, both domestic and international.

  • Fluency in languages in addition to English and/or having lived outside the US considered a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Working knowledge of SAP and CCH TeamMate Audit Management Software

  • Prior manufacturing and/or consumer products industry experience

  • Language skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Korean)
