The successful candidate will support testing activities within the engineering lab as part of the Access Engineering group (product development). Testing shall include a variety of mechanical, and preclinical work, with hands on interaction of synthetic and natural tissue.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare tissue models for in-vitro mechanical testing of interventional cardiology devices.


• Execute feasibility and verification testing


• Support the development of new test methods


• Build and assembly simple test or assembly fixtures.

Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma required. AS in a technical field preferred by not required.


• Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under supervision.


• Proven understanding of appropriate task prioritization


• Comfortable working with tissue samples


• Computer literacy required, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
