Summary

The goal of the Lead Training Specialist is to lay the foundation for success for AUSA Sales Professionals by providing them the necessary operational, technical, and soft skills required to start their new role with confidence and enthusiasm; decreasing the learning curve and increasing success from day one of delivery to the business. This specialist will provide operational and technical expertise at an exceptional level for audiences to include, Contact Center Sales, Field Sales, Retail Sales, Sales Operations and Enablement, and develop mastery level knowledge in all products, services, sales order entry and contact center tools, sales policies, procedures and best practices.

In addition to facilitating training, a portion of the Lead Training Specialist's role will be spent fine-tuning curriculum in collaboration with their partners on the Training team, Sales Operations and Enablement teams and the business stakeholders to ensure learning remains relevant.

This role will report to the Director of Sales Training.

Responsibilities


  • Deliver and facilitate new-hire onboarding and ongoing training for Inside Sales, Field Sales, Retail Sales inside, Sales Support, Sales Operations and Order Entry

  • Provide operational and technical expertise at an exceptional level for audiences to include, Contact Center Sales, Field Sales, Retail Sales, Sales Operations and Enablement

  • Develop mastery level knowledge in all products, services, sales order entry and contact center tools, sales policies, procedures and best practices.

  • Provides feedback and ideas for improving and developing resources and materials for training, including workbooks, manuals, job aids, quizzes, assessments and blended learning

  • Assist in the development of learning programs and blended learning approaches to enhance and optimize learning and development

  • Work with sales development and other partnered leaders in assessing training needs for continued course curriculum creation and improvement

  • Utilize various instructional techniques and formats such as simulations, team activities, group discussion, role-playing, videos and lectures along with leading the training initiatives and special projects.

  • Deliver instruction in most effective modality, including face-to-face and virtual classroom to effectively transfer knowledge so our employees can successfully apply learned concepts to their assigned roles within Altice USA.

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 7 years' experience delivering learning sessions, including live group presentations and virtual classes using web-conferencing tools.

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Education preferred

  • Ability to manage the full training cycle, delivery and management of multi-channel training classroom, webinar and self-paced learning required.

  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills; possess excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated presentation skills and experience using LMS systems, Microsoft Office proficiency, social media forums and tools knowledge

  • Ability to grasp new subject matter quickly, ask the right questions to gain deep comprehension of information to breakdown complexities into simple and easy to understand formats

  • Results oriented with strong administrative and process skills, flexibility and control in a constant and accelerating changing working environment.

  • Handle classroom set up (virtual or actual), multitask (teach, read chats, take notes etc.) and be comfortable while working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high energy environment.

  • Must have exceptional client service approach focusing on professionalism and responsibility.

  • Must have the ability to travel to various office locations within the Altice USA footprint.
