About the Position
VHB is seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Talent Acquisition Director to join our corporate Human Resources team. This position will be based in Watertown, MA, Orlando, FL, Washington, DC or Atlanta, GA. The Talent Acquisition Director will be a key strategic partner and will work closely with VHB's Human Resources VP, HR Business Partners, and other Business Leaders on all aspects of business operations and growth as they relate to Talent Acquisition.
The Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for planning, developing and directing all aspects of talent acquisition and overall recruiting processes. Creates strong partnerships and collaborates with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to develop and implement long-term hiring strategies based on the unique needs of each business line. Participates with other leaders to establish strategic recruiting and hiring plans. Responsible for overseeing all recruitment brand strategy, social media strategy, staffing programs, staffing vendor contracts, recruitment advertising, recruitment resources, networking tools and the overall strategy of the employee referral program.
Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor and forward-looking thought partner to senior management, HR partners, and business leaders to provide consultation and action-oriented plans for talent acquisition and workforce planning.
Develop strategic, diversity-focused hiring plans, programs and strategies that enhance the organization's ability to recruit the industry's top talent.
Lead implementation and manage key recruiting programs and projects in support of talent acquisition initiatives and process improvements.
Play a key role building, maintaining and continuously improving operational processes to drive an efficient, fast-paced, full cycle recruiting operation. Identify, establish, and drive consistent review of relevant recruiting metrics and enable the team to make data driven decisions.
Lead a talent acquisition team that provides recruitment support to all of VHB; managing to key metrics and performance indicators.
Leverage reporting and analytics to understand the current state and use the information to inform a talent strategy for the organization's business leaders.
Develop a comprehensive sourcing strategy to meet talent needs; build qualified and diverse talent pipelines. Stay current on industry trends, market data, and practice strong recruitment techniques.
Lead and develop new recruitment diversity initiatives, including outreach and internship programs.
Work with HR and business leaders to understand staffing needs and manage resources required to meet the demands.
Support consistent management practices including performance management, coaching, career planning, development, and training for all team members. Foster an environment and culture that creates a positive employee experience.
Collaborate with other HR leaders to provide frequent updates on business needs and share best practices for recruitment strategies.
Manage the recruiting risk/controls for the team; provide coaching and ensure all HR talent acquisition policies and practices are in compliance with all applicable regulations and good business conduct.
Foster a strong recruiting culture through consulting with the business on talent needs and building relationships with business leaders.
Moderate travel to offices within VHB's footprint

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field
Minimum of 15 years of recruiting experience; five or more years proven experience in leading the development and implementation of Talent Acquisition programs and processes that drive business results
Significant experience in both high volume and professional recruiting roles strongly preferred
Prior leadership experience with direct people leadership responsibility. Proven experience managing and leading teams with a strong focus on operational excellence.
In depth experience working and consulting with the highest levels of senior management
Experience in the A/E/C industry is highly desired
Thorough understanding of recruiting, compensation, EEO/AAP, employment laws and HR polices and best practices
