Department Overview

Job Description

The CTO is looking for a Full Stack Engineer for our team in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, multidisciplinary team with a critical skillset. You will directly contribute to the full lifecycle of projects, including https://www.cape.com/ and more.

Scope of Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend architecture, development, and testing.




• Perform code reviews, contribute to technical discussion, and feature breakdown.




• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, production environments, and documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional, post-graduate, software development experience in python, c++.




• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Microservices using Django or Flask.




• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, SQLite, MySQL.




• Familiarity with Azure, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.




• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), writing and maintaining unit tests, and environment configuration.




• Highly self-motivated with a desire to explore new approaches and technologies.




• Strong written and verbal communication skills.




• Bachelors or Masters of Computer or Software Engineering

A strong candidate may also experience working with:

• DevOps (tracking, pipelines) and Git (source control, code reviews).




• Video/data streaming, handling data files, and analytics libraries.




• Clustering, tracking, and pathfinding algorithms or machine learning libraries.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field




• 5+ years of software development experience
