Job Description:

Boart Longyear is looking to hire a TSG Field Maintenance Technician based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. This position will spend time both in the shop locally, and in the field for routine maintenance and emergency repairs of customers drilling equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent




• 2-3 years of mechanic experience




• Hydraulic systems experience




• Electrical experience (Certification is a plus)




• Be able to lift 100 pounds




• Have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities:

• Work safely without presenting direct threat to self or others




• Be self-motivated, and have a desire to become a team leader




• Diagnose hydraulic problems in equipment and perform quick turnaround repair time




• Have a high level of skill in the care and use of hand and power tools, at times to be manipulated in areas of limited space




• Work in adverse weather conditions




• Communicate with supervisor and safety personnel with little to no supervision




• Eager to learn
