This position is responsible for providing full financial and operational support to the Senior Manager FP&A and other operational leadership as directed. Primary focus will be on Meriden site and CII legal entity supporting the local operational management team. Divisional support and analysis will be required on an infrequent basis. Additionally, there will be project based activities covering various levels of the organization and ad hoc project work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Support to Operations Management on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule of deliverables.
Provide all forecasting and planning support, quarterly and annually, to the legal entity and site management teams.
Provide timely analysis of all variances to budget and forecasts at the departmental, account and site level.
Support all operational initiatives (cost reductions, SDP, etc.) from a finance perspective.
Support the Senior Manager, FP&A on an ad hoc basis.
Develop standard work for all activities and assist in process improvement activities.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
Support all ad hoc analysis as directed by senior management and to support divisional analysis as it pertains to the CII sites.
Support and provide analysis for all corporate office requests for information
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position holder must have strong analytical skills and be fully conversant with basic accounting principles.
The position requires attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
A thorough knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS applications to an advanced level.
Sense of ownership and commitment to meeting customer needs
Data mining and manipulation skills highly desirable.

Working knowledge of SAP, a plus.
Sales Force experience a plus.
Qualifications
EducationBachelors of Finance (required) Experience1-2 years of financial analysis/cost accounting experience is desirable (preferred)
