Job Description:

Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting key strategic verticals within the USIS portfolio, working closely with the other USIS Finance Leads and the SFO to provide value-added, actionable reporting of results and daily transactional revenue reporting. You will also provide analysis and guidance around current macro factors and potential investments in the vertical. You will provide ongoing support to the vertical team for results packages and other executive presentations.  Finally the role will include working with the business leaders to develop annual growth projections and annual budgets.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly  analysis of revenue performance reports in each vertical and present  to the business leaders. Along with ad hoc reporting projects.


• Create ad-hoc analyses of business drivers as needed for Corporate Finance and business leaders, and prepare associated executive-level presentation


• Work with business teams to develop annual growth plan and budgets, working within Finance processes and guidance. Prepare business cases when needed.


• Look for ways to streamline our tasks by using Excel skills or other means to make processes more efficient


• Super User for HFM/Planning/Essbase RDW

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, in Finance or Accounting preferred.


• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.


• Strong analytical skills.


• Proficient with MS office Suite, with expertise in Excel and Power Point.


• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion (HFM and Planning) strongly preferred.

Extra Points for any of the Following

• Super User for HFM/Planning/Essbase RDW


• Tubule experience 


• Knowledge of Spotfire, or similar BI programs, a plus.


• MBA preferred
