Human Resources - HR Generalist II
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
Administration of HR
activities, including recruitment, maintenance of employee records, payroll,
benefits, company policies ,development of employees, office administration,
accounts payable, and data entry.
The right candidate will
Responsible for keeping track of employee records(personal, medical, attendance, and payroll). Responsible for benefit management during open enrollment.
Assist employees with HR related questions.
Administer new employee orientation and coordinateemployee learning and development.
Assist employee with concerns (benefits, vacation, harassmentissues)
Performs office administration working including accounts payable and data entry
Reconcile time cards and process payroll. Maintain an effective, organized, efficient payroll system to meet the needs of thefacility.
Benefit administration including FMLA and COBRA,provide benefit education to new hires and and current employees. Processenrollments, changes and terminations, facilitate open enrollment process and ensure changes are made in payroll software.
Organize and conduct general orientation and exit interviews
Track and update hourly employee leaves of absence
Attend management meetings
5+ years relevant experience in manufacturing human resources setting
Excellent public speaking, written and oral communication skills
Strong understanding of the legal HR/payroll environment
Proven ability to build positive relationships withboth colleagues and management
Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential information
Previous experience with ADA, FMLA, OSHA, EEO
Project management and organizational skills
Experience with implementation and configuration ofsystem
Ability to manage budget
Experience with technology resources
Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
