Position Purpose
Reporting directly to the NA RGM Implementation and Compliance Lead, the Indirect Price Review and Governance Lead will be a highly visible, indispensable leader in directing the critical Indirect Price (Chargeback claims, Payment / Logistics terms) Review team and Governance Audit team in achievement of business objectives in achievement of indirect price policy compliance, control and recovery for realization and NRR delivery to the business. The position works closely with multiple senior leaders to pro-actively influence and drive impact. Pro-active leadership of Indirect Price review structure and control changes and interactions with Category and Sales to agree and implement those changes. At the same time, the incumbent will be expected to provide leadership, direction and coaching to the wider NA Governance Team as well as directional support to GBS to ensure compliance.

The role will proactively bring forward and clarify strategic indirect price choices and bring a point of view to the table that influences the direction of the organization regarding Indirect Price and NRR realization and business, category and customer hierarchy pricing enhancements.

Take accountability to deliver results that have a meaningful, direct impact on reducing claim errors or non compliance leading to higher NRR and OP delivery.

Development of specific recommendations of RGM Indirect Price strategy realization and implementation of the defined strategies and tactics across diverse teams.

This will require a detailed and rigorous approach to understand the current indirect pricing and customer hierarchy and how to strategically game plan to increased compliance and retention of value realization in the market.

The role will be a thought leader in the implementation of all indirect pricing policy and process adherence and controls. Lead will ensure the team efficiently manages all indirect price policy and compliance exceptions decisions alongside the Implementation and Compliance lead and Category as required taking a lead in influence utilizing all available data and reporting for clear consistent objective decisions.

Additionally, the role will pro-actively influence and bring to bear Indirect Price Review teams analysis and insight leading to action and change for improved compliance and value retention delivery across the region relating to all aspects of the Indirect Price waterfall and AOC reporting - ensuring impactful and actionable insight from evaluations, reviews and returns and consistent with RGM controls and business needs. Lead will drive the compliance of policy implementation and realization alongside Pricing, Customer Investment and Implementation Strategies and implement via the team.

At the same time, the incumbent will be expected to provide leadership, direction and coaching to the team as well as alignment support to wider RGM leadership team to ensure consistency.

Principle Accountabilities


  • Act as central driver and implementor of the strategic indirect pricing plan and landscape, leading the scope, creation, and deployment of effective and efficient indirect pricing tools & policies, tracking and communication across KCP NA, ensuring maximized compliance and value realization

  • Drive strategic indirect pricing policy compliance and claim reviews and control requirements with sales to ensure robust control, recovery where needed for delivery of the indirect pricing strategy, to deliver value realization. Driving action to deliver NRR improvements

  • Proactively bring forward insights and ideas to clarify strategic choices to ensure consistent application and leadership of all indirect pricing controls via the Indirect Pricing Review team and wider RGM team – leading the escalation process coordination when required

  • Driving the creation and deployment of effective and efficient compliance tools & policies across KCP NA, ensuring that KC assets are protected, as per existing CFI’s

  • Ensuring that corrective measures are implemented across different areas of the P&L, where risks are identified or financial harm may occur – leading this directly or through wider teams such as GBS

  • Owning the Governance Council meetings and initiatives

  • Coordinating internal and external audits across departments

  • Utilize all system analysis tools to support approaches for implementation of the Indirect Pricing Policies and Controls review process for reviewing customer indirect pricing claims compliance performance as required by the Implementation and Compliance Lead and RGM Director

  • Develop and provide consistent leadership from analysis tools and attend the QPR (Quarterly Pricing Review) meetings across all sales as required by RGM, NALT

  • Recruiting and retaining competent staff as well as overseeing career development for the team, training, productivity, and company exposure

  • Drive strategic and focused accountability through the senior leadership for delivering the NA Indirect Price compliance targets coordinating with wider RGM team leader as required

  • Lead strategic contact in development of a clear headline sales operational plan for any compliance and policy understanding and application as required by KCP NA – providing detailed analysis and plans for refinement by sales teams implementation – Taking ownership of the exception process fed / linked with Category and Implementation and Compliance Lead for collation and review and decisions

  • Develop and provide consistent leadership from analysis tools and attend the QPR (Quarterly Pricing Review) meetings with sales as required by the business

  • Drive across organization education and support best practice on indirect pricing – driving to best in class analysis tools and systems to maximize efficiency across KCP NA

  • Participate in and/or manage proactive project efforts to identify actionable value creation programs that drive results for the business unit – track and report on results as delivered

  • Qualifications/Experience

  • Educated to Degree Level and / or 7-10 years of proven and progressive experience in related roles and fields

  • Experience in key systems - SAP, Vistex, BI/BW, PROS, SPARTA, Fusion Optimizer (new)

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Finance experience and previous exposure to indirect pricing policy and control

  • Broad business view and the ability to build trust easily

  • Continuous improvement mind-set and the ability to lead change

  • Demonstrated capabilities with respect to critical thinking, consensus building and negotiation tactics to deliver strong change management throughout the organization

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and competing time demands

  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills to deliver effective communications and presentations

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to resolve difficult situations and support escalations
