Overview

We are looking for a candidate that is extremely diligent, reliable, and committed to contributing to the growth and maturity of an exciting technology company. The individual will work on projects that support the overall quality of our Company's compliance program, which is part of the legal team. The candidate must be creative and a flexible self-starter with impeccable attention to detail and ability to manage projects effectively with direction but without extensive oversight. This role will also interact with a diverse category of internal business units to implement practices that meet defined policies and standards. S/he would also be responsible for certain compliance-related tasks regarding the development and maintenance of, and training on, organizational policies and procedures. The ideal candidate would be looking to gain legal and compliance experience within the context of certain federal and international regulations including, but not limited to, Sarbanes-Oxley, anti-corruption and data privacy.

Responsibilities

    Review and enforce compliance with Company policies and practices
  • Support improvements to the Legal compliance program

  • Assist in the development of training materials and conduct in-person and online training to employees

  • Develop and maintain effective project management solution within compliance department

  • Support maintenance of database of all organization-wide policies and procedural documents, including version control and policy owners

  • Assist in ensuring that policy and procedure documentation is up to date and maintained

  • Day-to-day management of data subject request portal

  • Help support the tracking of Mimecaster compliance training/acknowledgments

  • Assist Compliance team with internal control and compliance testing

  • Conduct research and report on changes in regulatory requirements and best business practices

  • Special projects within Compliance and Legal department
