Our client, a leading manufacturer of flavors and fragrances, is currently seeking a Regulatory Specialist to join their growing team.

Responsibilities include:

• Serves as a subject matter expert in assigned areas. Interprets regulations; does research, develops, implements, and reviews technical data for compliance.


• Advises corporate personnel regarding the development and implementation of regulatory strategy, potential areas of regulatory concern and new governmental regulatory developments.


• Provides information to address the needs of an internal customer and provide guidance in the development of products.


• Provides information to customers and responds to customer requests in a timely manner.

• Assures flavors are in compliance with US, Canadian, LATAM, and Brazilian Regulations for Labeling, Nutritional, and other regional requirements.


• Participates in Organic Flavor Certification program by supporting our Raw Material documentation program as well as supports compliance and submission of our flavors to QAI for Organic Flavor Certification.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or other related discipline.


• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance. Experience in food, flavor, or fragrance industries preferred.


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint


• Highly analytical, ability to conduct advanced analyses independently


• Independent, self-motivated, proactive team player with strong work ethic
