Responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining, and managing IT services, including networking, IT security, email, and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities
Support network and storage environments including clustering, load balancing, VPNs, network IDS, cloud native firewalls & NSG's, 3rd party firewalls and WAF products and application delivery/virtualization products
Harden, update, Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot multi-site/multi-region application environments for both turn-key and cloud clients
Work directly with stakeholders to resolve issues, schedule updates, and provide guidance on environment best practices
Support and secure enterprise database systems; MS-SQL, Azure SQL DB and Oracle included
Harden IAM and RBAC policy and procedures
Complete basic Windows or Linux administration tasks, including patching, configuration of server roles and features, and installation of software package
Work within HIPAA, HiTRUST and other security and privacy governess models in implementing and securing environments
Work within Microsoft Azure Security Center and corresponding security solutions
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 2 years of experience working with private and public cloud technologies in a live, production environment
At least 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Security tooling including security hub, sentinel and other M365 security services and solutions.
1-2 years experience with Azure App Services, IaaS, Security and other Azure based services
Understanding of certificate based and other encryption technologies
Understanding of Identity and Access Management and Role Based Access Control methodologies and implementation applicability
Working knowledge of IT standards, concepts, best practices, and procedures
Ability to prioritize attention and workload to focus on client priorities within a time sensitive environment
Strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual thinking skills Preferred Experience working with Windows Server and Linux Platforms in an enterprise environment. Microsoft AZ-500 certification a plus
