Job Description:

In partnership with the Outside Sales Rep and Sales Management, implement a unified strategy that generates revenue through personalized service and value-based selling. Responsible for delivering World Class service for approximately 20 - 30 of the most strategically important Zone customers.

Essential Job Responsibilities


  • Integrated Account Management for existing key Zone customers in partnership with Outside Sales; considered a key support resource for the customer

  • Coordinates order management activities: order entry, contract review, on-time delivery performance, inventory maintenance, special handling requirements, product specification maintenance, returns, and any other customer-related activities in support of customer requirements

  • Applies intermediate to advanced sales skills combined with product/customer knowledge to expand product offerings and value-added services with assigned customer base

  • Collaborates with internal and external resources when identifying emerging customer needs, cost savings opportunities, competitive threats, and revenue enhancement opportunities

  • Key team player in developing sales plan, monitoring sales performance, and aggressively driving sales results

  • Continually develop and expand product and technical knowledge in support of customer base

  • Performs timely follow up on quotes and inquiries.

  • Monitor key performance indicators to identify gaps in customer profitability or service levels and proactively work with cross-functional resources (operations, procurement, quality, finance, sales, etc.) to resolve

  • Build and nurture relationships with key customer contacts to ensure complete satisfaction and to identify new opportunities to build value

  • Records/maintains all customer-related and sales activity information in CRM system to enable 360-degree view of customer

  • Drives order automation with assigned accounts

  • Other sales generation and customer support duties as assigned using SXe ERP system
