If you are a Master Scheduler professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, you will under minimal supervision, plan and schedule custom engineered (ETO), new products (NPI) sales orders considering  material and capacity constraints to meet customer and business needs.
 
AS A MASTER SCHEDULER III, YOU WILL: 


  • Initial order and production scheduling for ETO sales orders to support accurate booking and date management.

  • Confirm that all key item, BOM, routing, sourcing setups are complete prior to order scheduling.

  • Coordinate with Customer Service Center for management of shipsets, shipping warehouse and general date management.

  • Check material and capacity availability and coordinate with manufacturing, buyers, planners, inventory control, engineering at all impacted factories as necessary to meet customer request date.

  • Maintain Oracle stabilization for ATP date results, part set ups, GOP warehouse selections, ship set issues and order entry errors to support accuracy for additional orders.

  • Review and take action on daily exception messages from Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning module.

  • Review WIP Status report reschedule WIP jobs and sales orders as necessary to maintain 90%+ service levels.

  • Complete new item attribute tasks in Enovia as required.

  • Review and schedule ISOs from other manufacturing locations as needed.

  • Attend cross functional project meetings to provide and request updates.

  • Attend daily production meeting.

  • Escalate issues that will impact manufacturing schedule or customer ship date to project manager.

  • Plan and provide milestone dates working closely with the Engineering Managers and Supervisors, Production Master Schedulers and Inside Sales personnel to meet customer commitments.

  • Align with the Manufacturing and ETO Engineers in each factory to understand shop constraints and incorporate these into the production plan.

  • Drive for continuous improvement within current methods and lead the cross-functional change management process when changes are required

  • Own reporting on factory status & performance to the plan

  • NPI representative for Planning

  • Backup support for Boulder planning team

WHO YOU ARE:

You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions.  You identify and seize new opportunities.  You use milestones to diligently track and manage the progress of the work.  You think about the whole system.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • BS degree in Materials Management, Business Management, Industrial or Design Engineering or equivalent education and experience required.

  • 7 plus years of scheduling/supply chain/project management/engineering or similar experience in an ERP environment.

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications required, especially excel for data analysis.

  • Strong organizational and cross-functional team building and communication skills required.

  • Ability to clearly communicate core ERP business system requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to extract data from Oracle/GDW for reporting.

  • Must have strong analytical, trouble-shooting and communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Project management or participation on project teams experience.

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States 

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  


  • APICS CPIM certification is strongly preferred, willingness to pursue.

  • Manufacturing or design engineering experience preferred.

In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $79,000 - $1263,600 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
