Job Description:

Summary/Objective:  2nd.MD is seeking a smart and engaging Sales Operations Specialist to add to their team. To be successful in this role, you should have 5 years of professional experience related to Sales support and operations. Additionally, having knowledge and understanding of healthcare within health insurance plans and commercial employers will be crucial. The work you do will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the Sales VPs and the overall sales organization. We are interested in someone who is eager to work a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

●      Support Sales VPs with preparations for meetings, which may include strategy sessions, presentations, demonstrations, and briefing documents.

●      Collaborate directly with the Sales VPs to understand client needs and develop correspondence and presentations that resonate with the key audience.

●      Manage sales tasks and deliverables for Sales VPs to include key deliverable dates and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of client-facing deliverables such as pricing, presentations, proposals, etc.

●      Manage RFPs and RFIs; back-up proposal writer, as needed.

●      Coordinate transition process from Sales to account management and implementation teams.

●      Co-Manage opportunities in Salesforce CRM with Sales VPs:

o   Enter and manage pipeline deals

o   Update deals and appropriate fields in CRM throughout the life of the opportunity

●      Run reports in CRM, as requested by assigned Sales VPs.

●      Work with key stakeholders in other departments throughout the organization to gather information required and requested by Sales VPs to fulfill client requests.

●      Participate in the coordinate of remote and/or onsite events with prospective clients

●      Schedule meetings and help manage Sales VP’s calendar.

Skills and Qualifications:

●      5+ years of professional experience related to Sales support and operations

●      Bachelor’s degree or higher

●      Knowledge and understanding of all lines of business within health insurance plans a plus

●      Proficient in Google applications, Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce CRM a plus

●      Excellent listening skills, self-directed individual who can create trusted advisor relationships

●      Quick study with an intrinsic commitment to continuous learning

●      Team player able to instill confidence and motivate colleagues

●      Demonstrated willingness to support the success of your peers

●      This job operates in a home-office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

●      The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. 

●      Minimal travel will be required in this position and will largely be limited to onboarding and quarterly sales team meetings.
