ContainerPort Group is looking for a Customer Data Specialist to join our team here in Rocky River, OH!

The Customer Data Specialist oversees Customer On-Boarding and all data elements involved. Assists with continued development and management of CRM tool.

Job Responsibilities:

• Data Entry of important Customer information


• Manages onboarding experience for new Customers


• Manages flow of customer contracts; involving stakeholders and ensuring deadlines are met


• Timely completion of incoming carrier packets; provision of required documents to customers


• Set-up and updating of Bill Tos in Transportation Management System; including customer coding, billing and document requirements, salesperson assignment, and auto-rating freight service set-up


• Manages Transportation Management System “Broker” field updates & adds


• Assists in the management of Transportation Management System location adds and updates


• Development, utilization and maintenance of department’s SharePoint site


• Audits customers in Transportation Management System to ensure accurate status


• Daily usage of advance PC and business computer applications, telephone conferencing and e-mail
  
  
  


• Other duties as requested

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience


• Customer Service experience required


• Previous transportation experience preferred, but not required


• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite with advanced Excel knowledge


• Working knowledge of SharePoint a plus


• Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines


• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills


• Ability to prioritize work and achieve results


• Capability to input data quickly and accurately with good proof reading
