Data and Analytics, the advanced analytical division of Equifax, offers state of the art solutions to current and emerging business challenges. Through our data analytics, customer insights, custom modeling, and consulting services, we deliver the analytics and insights companies need to enhance their business.  Our Analytics business is seeking an experienced analytics manager to lead a team of business analysts to support analytics sales. 

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for leading and developing a team of business analysts to generate credit trends, business intelligence, and customer insights leveraging Equifax unique multi-data assets   




• Work with the analytical consultants, vertical leaders and sales to deliver best in class insights to support customer engagement and presales opportunities




• Conducts resource assignment and weighs multiple priorities to drive right business decisions




• Partner with analytical consultants and sales teams to create custom specific insights for client engagement and sales opportunities




• Partner with product managers to launch new products (insight packages and apps)   




• Coordinate with other D&A teams to leverage the latest innovation and technology for customer engagement and co-innovation




• 10%  travel to client’s sites

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience with risk management, marketing analytics, business analyses and reporting in consumer financial services is required




• 3+ years of managerial experience in leading and coaching analytical teams is required; Agile project management experience is a plus




• Hands on knowledge in segmentation, modeling and machine learning is required




• Knowledge of various sources of data such as credit bureau, customer application, utility payment and/or demographic data




• Ability to clearly present analytical findings to sales and clients; Advanced written and verbal communication skills




• You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders

Extra Points for any of the Following

• Experience with Hive/SQL/Big Query, Python or R is required




• Experience with visualization tools such as SpotFire, Tableau, Looker or Power BI is preferred




• Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics or other related discipline
