Sr. Directorof Digital Ops
Newrez's Digital Productteam is seekinga Sr. DirectorofDigital Opsto lead, coach, drive, and inspiremultipleteamsofdesigners, productmanagers and scrum mastersin a product development process. The right person for this role will bring a growth mindset, a positive problem-solving attitude, proven strong managerial and leadership skills, as well as an ability to drive change in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a broad background of systems-level problem solving using frameworks such as Lean, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban software development models.
Of utmost importance in this role, is the ability to develop the team to bring their full potential into their work and providing both thestandards and processesto developan innovation centric product development process, while serving the business need for efficient and transparent delivery of the product roadmap.
The ideal candidate for this position will be seasoned in program management with strong leadership skills, communication skills, and expertise with digital and technology transformation.
This is a full-time role locatedremote orin our New York, NY offices.
What you will do
• You willleadthe program managementfunctionin close partnership with Product, Engineering and Design, to drive the delivery ofthe digital product roadmap.
• You arestrong at building relationships across functions to align strategies and drive execution.
• Youwill serve as a key member of thedigital productleadership team, helping to define best practices, influenceorganizational health, and drivingmultipleorganization wide initiatives each year.
• Youwill play equal parts problem solver and doer, tackling the roles of strategist, operator, influencer and delivery specialist, and create an inclusive team environment that inspires a diversity of perspectives and bold ideas.
• You haveexperience building program management functions and oversee end-to-end execution across multiple parallel program workstreams, including risk management, issue/conflict resolution and dependency management.
What you need to be successful
• 10+ years' experience in program management or technical leadership
• 3+ years' management experience preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of software development processes, including continuous delivery, DevOps, Scrum, Agile, Capabilities organization models, and Kanban
• Comprehensive understanding of designthinking and product development processes, including design research,conceptdefinition,user testing,innovation workshops andSAFelean
• Extensive project management experience, developing and managing schedules, scope, budgets, resource plans, issues, and risks
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous, matrixed, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
