We're looking for a Product Manager Site, Area & Wall to join our Outdoor Lighting Team in San Marcos, TX.

As a Product Manager you'll be responsible for setting the strategy for your portfolio, driving new innovation projects and launching new products into the marketplace. The portfolio is centered around Site & Area as well as wall lighting, all under the GARDCO brand. What's great is that you'll see your product on many parking lots and on the outside of buildings all across the USA and Canada.

What you'll do


  • Discuss with customers, specifiers, product marketers, sales, agents on the latest trends for your category


  • Translate those trends in new product ideas, collaborating with people from design, R&D, project management, etc. to get it on the roadmap and execute these projects into reality


  • Track performance of your categories and look for opportunities to improve performance, bring down the cost, increase sales, etc.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to build and execute a strategy for this crucial category within the outdoor lighting portfolio


Your qualifications


  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business, MBA is a plus


  • Able to translate customer requirements into technical requirements for your portfolio


  • 5+ years' experience in technical product management or product marketing role


  • Ability to work with a very diverse group of stakeholders (customer, specifiers, R&D, project managers, procurement, operations)


  • Experience with lighting industry is a plus


Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship
