Position Summary:

Coordinates and supports all Subway & Ramuntos activities in their assigned locations, trains, coaches, supports managers in ensuring all Subway standards are trained and followed at all locations. Works with the management team on the development of new business. Plans and set business goals for each location. Focuses on in store issues and is actively involved with the personal development of all team members.
Field Food Service Manager will spend a minimum of 45 hrs. Per week performing in store, customer service related functions.

Tasks & responsibilities;


  • Provides leadership to managers and staff in the assigned area to ensure compliance with standards set in the Subway operations manual and applicable government regulations.

  • Works with staff to achieve sales goals.

  • Ensures that correct operational procedures are followed and takes corrective action as necessary.

  • Coaches and trains managers, assistant managers, and shift supervisors for operational excellence, helps to develop new hire orientation programs, monitors training program to ensure quality training of all employees.

  • Develops and maintains staffing level for Managers and assistant Managers. Implements management training.

  • Supports local and national marketing initiatives.

  • Completes online course work on University of Subway as directed.

  • Insures stores in area are scheduling within budget guidelines.

  • Punches in and out at the assigned store, works production , Hours are counted in store labor budget

  • Completes 2nd interview for all perspective Subway employees. Ensures excellent customer service

  • Insures that all reports are accurately filled out in a timely manner

  • Responsible for insuring store is properly staffed, working with Manager to make sure all shifts covered

  • Do dashboard evaluations once per month at all locations

  • Work with Manager to complete action log to correct any issues in your evaluation as well as your Field Consultant evaluation
