Job Description:

Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for a Treasury Analyst at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX.  This position contributes to company’s success by ensuring an efficient banking structure is in place to support its operations. The Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of treasury operations activities. This includes assisting with the continued development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company and supporting the cash forecasting process. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking and analytical skills and be able to effectively communicate financial and operational concepts to all cross-functional levels. This position will report onsite to the Dallas office.

Responsibilities


  • Prepare the daily cash position and initiate wire transfers for the domestic and international operations;

  • Maintain the rules and mapping for the company’s treasury management system;

  • Forecast cash and monitor long-term & short-term cash requirements, including providing variance analyses;

  • Perform bank fee analyses and make product recommendations to improve efficiencies to reduce fees;

  • Manage the day-to-day banking relationships and support the documentation requirements to open, close, and amend bank accounts;

  • Assist with the quarterly and ad hoc debt compliance reporting requirements;

  • Work with the Accounting group during the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes; and

  • Assist with special projects on an as needed basis.

Qualifications


  • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field preferred.

  • 1+ years’ work experience in treasury/cash management or banking field preferred.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • CTP designation, preferred.
