Position Description:

•As the senior HR leader, lead employee and culture component of integration activities and offer insight for other development initiatives.

•Partner closely with the VP, HR and Business Unit Leader to drive the HR agenda throughout the Magnetrol business unit.

•Provide full life cycle recruiting to include, sourcing, screening, interviewing, preparing, extending, negotiating, and closing candidate offers.

•Within the business, deploy the AMETEK talent management process to assist in identifying Hi Potential and promotable employees within the BU.

•Consults with and provides coaching to leadership team members, managers, and employees regarding a variety of issues, including management styles, issue resolution, career development, performance improvement, corrective counseling, and other HR related issues as appropriate.

•Internal consultant for managers and employees regarding all aspects of employee relations, including but not limited to EEO issues, pay and performance, employee development and training and discipline.

•Manage the compensation process. Analyze all positions and accurately define and classify them within appropriate job groups. Research salary and incentives for all positions annually. Assist in the development of total compensation and incentive plans.

•Direct the performance management process. Coach management on appraisal creation and delivery.

•With VP, HR, lead leadership review and individual development planning process; track progress with business leaders throughout the year

•Effectively and promptly investigate employee relation matters and properly document. Execute RIF’s and other confidential matters according to AMETEK standards.

•Develop and implement global management training focused on areas such as progressive discipline techniques, recruiting practices, and conducting difficult conversations.

•Maintain legal compliance with government reporting regulations and ensure consistency in following AMETEK’s policies and procedures.

•Proactively maintain compliance training. Programs include, but are not limited to harassment free work environment, substance free workplace, etc.

•In consultation with Shared Services, aid employees regarding health benefit, pension and 401(k) issues/questions

•Working with a third-party administrator, manage workers’ compensation and report as needed on case status.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field

• 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Relevant experience integrating acquisitions

• Ability to work effectively with a variety of people and interface with associates at all levels of the organization

• Demonstrated consultative abilities with senior leaders within the organization

• Strategic, critical, and innovative thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal skills

• Understanding of multi state and federal employment laws

• Experience working within a global organization

• Ability to travel 25-30% of time
