SUMMARY:

Responsible for facilitating / organizing / training all tkps & Continuous Improvement activities in the entire plant. Has the responsibility for the implementation, conformity and performance of the process at the respective plant / OU for the tkps Project Planning, tkps Implementation, tkps Program Controlling, tkps Process Standardization, S²QDC Shop Floor Management, SMED_Setup Time Management, 5S / TPM_Machine Availability Management, Six-Sigma_Problem Solving process, 6Sigma Training Request and Nomination, 6Sigma Project Assignment, 6Sigma Project Execution and CIP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Always follow all Company Safety policies and procedures


• Support all safety procedures and initiatives


• Responsible for facilitating / organizing / training all tkps & Continuous Improvement activities for the entire plant and supporting teams


• Supports Production Manager to ensure that all tkps & Continuous Improvement activities are followed


• Champion employee IDEA program


• Report current activities or issues with Eschen tkps organization in order to foster synergies and cooperation


• Ensures project team members and affected departments are informed of any changes or findings that are necessary to their function


• Ensures all necessary documentation is updated and posted in a timely manner


• Ensures all points assigned to tkps in pre / closing meetings are complete


• Supports Supplier trainings in regards to tkps & Continuous Improvement methods


• Must be able to perform training for production personnel, and continually be available to coach


• Supports Operations in Scrap & Downtime reduction projects per OPL


• Maintain tkps roadmap in accordance with current and planned projects and maintain communication with Logistics, Production, Quality, and Process Engineering to have an effective plan


• Travel to customers, Presta plants and suppliers in the U.S., Mexico and Europe when the need arises

Must have very good people / communication skills, and be able to communicate technical ideas to non-technical individuals as well as experts. Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University in Engineering; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer and Technology Skills:

The successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office applications, QS-Stat or Minitab. SAP, Lotus Notes and Microsoft Project.
