Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking an Assembler (1st Shift) for our Schaeffler Transmission LLC, facility in Wooster, OH to report to the Leader - Team. This position is responsible for producing components that exceed customer requirements and expectations.

Key duties include but not limited to:

• Maintain productivity standards, perform changeovers, use gauges and other tools to perform their own quality inspections and record data into computer programs and systems
• Must pay significant attention to detail, must be self-motivated, and must be able to function as a member in a team environment
• Cooperate and communicate with all levels of the department and organization
• May be called to work on other Assembly areas as needed
• Maintain productivity standards and perform changeovers while exhibiting cooperation and communication skills
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Blueprint reading
• Computer skills
• Mechanical aptitude
