Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking an Engineer - Industrial Engineering for our facility in Wooster, Ohio. This position is responsible for product costing, plant layout, direct headcount, capacity, OEE, incentive, capital investment projects, process development, department measurables, and general departmental support.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Improving and analyzing direct headcount targets based upon consensus numbers
Support work center excellence auditing, coordinating monthly part cost coordination, costing requests, and maintaining process development status and actions
Maintain and analyze monthly capacity charts, incentive reports, OEE Sheets, and perform time studies
Qualified candidates will have:
Excellent engineering & physics knowledge
Knowledge of automotive manufacturing industry
SAP, AutoCAD & Microsoft Office
Superior mechanical ability
Good knowledge of production processes, measurement and inspection procedures
Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
Continuous improvement approach
Assertive approach to solving problems
Ability to prioritize and make decisions
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or Associate degree with 3-5 years of Schaeffler manufacturing experience
