Primary Function
The Director of Non Agency Securitization will oversee all aspects of deal structuring and transaction management for all Non-Agency sales or securitizations. The role will be responsible for: identifying and developing opportunities to maximize execution outside of the traditional agency model, modeling market execution and developing a pricing strategy to support the securitization pipeline, and following transactions through diligence to settlement.

Responsibilities

• Track current deal issuance trends to identify opportunities in Non-Agency space


• Develop a model to independently evaluate Non-Agency valuation - considering rating agency loss coverage, market spreads, deal expenses and IO valuation


• Work with pricing teams and origination channels to develop pricing strategies that target desired collateral


• Work cross functionally with third party diligence, and post closing to ensure diligence is completed promptly


• Communicate and work directly with treasury to ensure proper financing


• Establish PnL attribution for all execution activities.


• Act as single point of contact for all external parties including banks/underwriters, rating agencies, third party diligence firms, and all internal stakeholders


• Serve as subject matter expert for leadership on all matters related to Non-Agency whole loan sales or securitizations.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. degree in Businessor equivalent.


• 5-10 years mortgage experience with at least 5+ years of experience in non agency structuring/trading and transaction management.


• Must be competent in Microsoft Office applications, SQL knowledge a plus.


• Strong Analytical, quantitative, relationship development, and communication skills.
