Primary Purpose: Manages the day-to-day efforts related to planning, design, construction and activation of projects for UC Health under the supervision of the Director of Design & Construction. Ensures completion of projects within budget, on schedule and meeting all program objectives and appropriate governmental regulations. Acts as liaison between the end users and all other project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside authorities having jurisdiction. Knowledge and Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field, minimum required.

Years of Experience: Three to five years equivalent experience, minimum required. Six to ten years, preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent project management skills to manage multiple small to mid-sized health care projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contracts. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with and manage multi-faceted teams. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and e-Builder construction management software (preferred). Extensive experience in all phases of managing the architectural design and construction management process from the Owner's perspective.
