The position requires a networking and server administration background combined with thorough troubleshooting and independent thinking skills.  This includes the ability to troubleshoot complex server hardware and analyze OS issues.  The applicant must possess knowledge in network design and maintenance and have an overall understanding of the IP transport principles.  The position will require knowledge of AT&Ts CBB, VoIP and Mobility platforms.  The candidate must have experience working with servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.  Candidate should have specific experience with hardware such as Dell, HP, IBM, Juniper and Cisco and software such as Linux, VMware and Hadoop.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team in a 7x24 environment are required.  The candidate must be able to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.  This position is for an off-shift tour and on-site at the Bridgeton location.  Weekends and holidays may be required.  Finally, the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain and TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in IP security and server administration.
• Knowledge of routing protocols, switching VLAN design and setup are desired 
• Understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop
• Background in various Linux operating systems including Red Hat is also required. The candidate will need the use of scripting (Python, shell, etc.) to perform some tasks.
