IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Test & Quality Assurance Engineer to work remotely. The candidate will be part of the Integrated Budget Documentation and Execution System multi-disciplinary team, which is directly involved with the security of budgeting information for various government entities. The candidate will be responsible for integrating automated tests with continuous integration/continuous development systems for software being used in conjunction with the efforts, developing automated test pipelines, and providing sustainment service to include troubleshooting, modifying, and upgrading test infrastructure to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction . The candidate must be able to work as part of an integrated Agile development team.

Qualifications Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in all phases of the testing cycle from testing planning, development of test scenarios/script, entering and analyzing problem reports and maintaining problem reports.
- 3 years of demonstrated experience with quality management, performance metrics and root cause analysis, non-conformance reporting and lessons learned.
- Background and experience with developing automated unit, integration, and system tests such as standing up automated test suites to test and report quality, vulnerability, and performance metrics.
- Experience in programming or in writing regression tests for Single Page Applications using automated testing framework (such as SoapUI, CodeceptJS, Selenium, WebDriverIO, TestCafe, etc.).
- Experience decomposing requirements and implementing user stories.
- Experience with source control and code repository tools required.
- Familiarity with bug tracking suites (such as Visual Studio) is a plus.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
Security/Certification Requirements:
- DoD Secret
- Certification: DoD 8570 IAT-II and AFMAN-017. Must currently be certified on one, or more, of the following
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating Automated Testing Framework to run tests after the compile and build stage of development.
- Carry out testing procedures to ensure that all products and services meet organization standards and end user requirements; creates, perform and lead tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
- Design and create test plans/schedules, of the business applications to ensure conformance to specifications, to reduce defects, and to increase quality assurance.
- Support for user tests, to include giving demonstrations and providing direct user help.
- Analyze requirements and develop test automation strategies within container-based CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Analyze, isolate, characterize, document, and resolve complex application software anomalies and deficiencies.
- Set up test coverage tools and tracking metrics for high code quality.
- Write, create, and modify test scripts for various test categories (i.e., unit, integration, system, regression, functionality, security, performance).
- Record test results, report and verify software bug fixes to accept criteria.
- Identifies software capability and reliability by conducting functional, system, and performance tests.
- Resolves testing problems by modifying testing methods during tests, conferring with management to revise test objectives and standards.
- Maintains testing database by developing defect tracking and regression test information requirements; designing information system; enters test outcomes; secures data.
- Assist with creating and maintaining test environments that simulates real-world conditions.
- Conduct quality management across all tasks on project, which includes quality audits, collection of performance metrics, root cause analysis, lessons learned and reporting on non-conformances and track to closure.
- Conduct system performance tuning and fault isolation services.
- Integrate appropriate security measures into developed software services.
- Provide release notes and initial training material for new or updated features.
- Perform routine, regular, and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by the project.
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face. This position requires incumbent to have the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
