The Technical Design Assistant helps with the coordination and organization of the Lands’ End technical design process, ensuring products are consistent with quality standards, fit, and construction. You will work closely with all other levels of Technical Design staff in moving samples through the production life cycle within calendar deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Organize samples for fit sessions, including tracking, receipt, measuring, steaming, storing
Assist in PLM to create, update, and maintain specifications
Research and interface with teams, vendors, internal departments, and customers to answer product
Maintain daily communication with vendors, including charts, logs, etc.
Organize and send packages to vendors
Adhere to the calendar and support the Technical Design staff to ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications:
Strong prioritization and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel
Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and be self-directed
Experience with product development applications helpful (Adobe Illustrator and PLM)
Strong math skills, the ability to work with fractions and percentages
