Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is searching for a Quality Control (QC) Microbiology Analyst to join our QC team. As our QC Microbiology Analyst, you will act as a team member of the Quality Control department to support production of in-process and final product drug lots for customers. You will also participate in quality testing for ongoing customer stability studies and provide high quality results to meet manufacturing demands.  Our Microbiology Analyst will have experience with performing routine testing, product release testing, and trouble-shoot equipment and methods. 

*This position is a night shift role that reports to work Monday-Friday from 8:30PM- 4:30AM*

Key Responsibilities: 

• Running test samples for In-Process, Lot Release and Stability studies (including Bioburden, Endotoxin, and TOC).


• Reviewing assays.


• Sample receiving.


• Very structured to follow SOPs.

Key Requirements: 

• Bachelor or Associates Degree. Preferred area of study in Microbiology, Biochemistry or Related Science Fields.


• Previous experience using Laboratory Systems, Document Management Systems and GMP Quality Systems preferred (ex. LIMS, MODA).


• Working experience within cGMP industry preferred.
