The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Sales Manager with the Electronics Business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  The Sales Manager will be responsible for overall sales and business development for US and China Sales operations for the Electronic business segment.  Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Leading U.S. and Southeast Asia sales teams

  • Managing and developing new business at key accounts

  • Determining and executing overall business segment strategy

  • Supporting New Product Development for electronics markets

  • Willingness to support customer needs as required

  • Manage P&L for electronic segment

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with major in Engineering or Science (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Seven (7) years experience in Sales and/or Marketing of engineering related solutions in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred

  • MBA is desired

  • Experience leading an international team

  • Three (3) years of senior business management experience in the electronics markets

  • Successful track record of large multi-national account development and penetration

Location:  Remote-based position with responsibility for domestic Key accounts, and leadership of an international sales team

Travel: May include up to 35% travel domestically/Internationally

Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized

Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
