YOUR ROLE


  • Technical liaison on questions from our Industrial user base and represent the first line of contact with our customer. 

  • Responsible to develop innovative solutions to problems presented over the phone. For a new engineer it provides an unrivaled amount of practical experience.

  • Work directly with Henkel customers to identify, qualify, close, and maintain Henkel Product applications.

  • Provide timely technical support to customer inquiries.

  • Convert customer inquiries into qualified leads to enable the Henkel team to close new business opportunities.

  • Work out of our office in Rocky Hill.  During a typical day they are expected to be able to visualize mechanical situations and work with customers to determine the best products to use.  Training provided to ensure they are well equipped to handle the role.

  • This position provides an entry into the world of adhesives. Staff in this role are highly regarded as experts in the adhesive world.  We encourage staff to develop specific areas of expertise to further develop their technical skills. 

YOUR SKILLS


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as mechanical or chemical engineering preferred

  • French language an asset

  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential

  • Good visualization skills and must have good mechanical aptitude

  • Good technical aptitude and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Strong customer related communications and interpersonal skills necessary
